Books to read.

I have been trying to read the last Stephenie Meyer's book but to tell you the truth. I just can't get into it. I would like to get anther book ,but I don't know what. So as my son says "Can you help me "PLEEEEASE." Also I would like to read some other books to my kids. What are your favorite children books. Please remember that my kids are 1, 3,and 5 thanks.

Paint a picture.

For craft time I was a little lazy. I got out my paint brushes, turned on some music, and painted. 

Tanner and McKenna have been getting very upset when there drawings don't look like mine. I have been asking around on how I can help them. My sister in law gave me a idea. She told me to buy some different types of brushes.

This was the first time that my kids did not throw there pictures, brushes, crayons or anything else. Thank you Evelyn your the best.


I just gave the kids a bath and she so did not want to put on her t-shirt or any thing else.

But I'm glad she didn't want to put on her clothing.

Tanner had to try all the paint brushes out.

McKenna loved the stamp brush.

I went to JoAnn's and bought them for 4.00 they were on sale!

If you have a child under 3 you might want to substitute pudding for the paint. Vanilla and some food coloring works great I did that with Tanner and McKenna they loved it.

A day at the park.

On my side of the family we decide to celebrate all the Birthdays that are in September. So Alexander, Ellie, mine, and Rob's . We decided to go to the park and eat dinner and cake. but someone forgot the cake. That's OK because I'm on a diet. Here are some pictures enjoy.

Just a fun idea.

We have been trying to sharpen Tanner up on his adding and subtracting. We also have been trying to teach Mckenna her numbers and Emma her colors. So we went bowling The kids earned this game with the point system.
OK here's where the teaching comes in Tanner throws the ball we then have Mckenna count the ones that are up and the one that are hit. Then I have Emma tells me what colors are up and what colors are down.Then Tanner subtracts the number of pins that are down from the number of pins that are up, or we add the pins together. They Love to play this game. Now I can't take all the credit my husband came up with the subtracting and adding part. I came up with the others.

I'm going to put numbers on the bottom of the pins and add colors to them as will. Just to make things harder and funner.

Our new Home!

We have been looking for a house it seem like forever and we found one in Saratoga Springs. I like small towns, but I also like living close to thing. We are only about 5 min away from stores and about 20 to 25 min away from family. We will be taking over keys on the 15th of September, but wont be moving in then. We want to paint and do other thing. I really like this house, it fit our need now and long term.

What is a blog? Some people use it for advertising , I found for me it is to keep in touch and share my stories and experiences. So with this blog I'll try and do all.

Yesterday I thought it was time to take a shower. I have a hard time doing this because my husband Rob "Graphic Designer" lets me sleep in bless his heart. I also have all my kids in the morning and I don't want to take a shower when my kids take a nap because I'm to afraid I'll wake them up. So I turned on the TV and took a shower. Now I've done this before and been successful the kids watch their TV show and they never miss me, But this time it wasn't the case. I came out got dressed and Tanner ran down the hall saying hello as he turned his head I notice something different. I thought it was the lighting. When I came in the living room I saw something that a mother once in her life time will see. HAIR a big pile of HAIR . I have been really good about keeping crayons, markers, pens knifes and yes even scissors in a safe places. But I forgot about Tanners schools scissors in his book bag. they got a hold of them and decided to be Edward scissor hand. I called our beautician "Hanui"and she could fit me in at 1:00.In the mean time I had to hide the damage so I put our favorite bows in "Binga Bows". Hanui did a great job fixing McKenna and Emma's hair.

We had two separate pile of hair cutting.

Tanner also cut the laundry basket.

Bear Lake

Our family had a vacation this weekend. On Rob side the family rent a cabin and go to Bear Lake. My kids loved it they get to play with cousin and don't have to take a nap, but they all asked for one, even Tanner. Here are some pictures I took.

I think they enjoyed getting dirty. This was the only day that we could get wet and wild. The weather made a turn for the worst on Sunday and on Monday it didn't get any better.

Craft time again.

As everyone knows we are doing craft time every other day. My children love "Curious George"which is nice because it comes on right before Rob come home so it gives me time to make dinner. This episode of "Curious George" George make himself into a robot. Tanner found a box, colander, asked us to cut holes out and voila a robot.
